The luckiest……

This is a long overdue blog post, but now that I’ve caught my breath after the insanely busy fall portrait season and holiday rush, I am finally coming up for air! This post is soooo different for me because those of you that know me as a photographer,  know that I don’t shoot weddings and I feel a bit out of my “comfort zone” with them, however the ones that I HAVE shot always turned out to be a blast and this one tops the cake! I ORIGINALLY  declined (not because I didn’t totally love and know this couple), but mainly because I just told myself that “I don’t shoot weddings”, HOWEVER……after a couple of conversations with Peggy…..I decided to take it on! Full speed ahead and I am so glad I did. I spent my day shooting such a beautiful couple along with their families and friends and they couldn’t have made it any easier….well….Mother Nature could have given us a few degrees more of warmth, but other than that the day was perfection. I feel that Peggy and Shane are the luckiest to have each other and it was such a wonderful experience to witness them make this commitment to each other. I thank you Peggy and Shane for making me step outside of my box and I feel so lucky that you chose me to share this special day.
