Time flies and it seems as if the kiddos in our family are growing like weeds! Scarlet has changed so much in such a short time. She is grinning, giggling and has almost mastered sitting up by herself. The twins….Ella and Isabelle have sprouted upward this past year and are just as tall as my second grader, Luca(and they are in kindergarten)!!

Here is a recent from our recent session that I already blogged about with all the cousins….thought we’d get some individual fam pics!!

Cousins…..and a few bloopers!!

Since my youngest sister lives in Western Nebraska, we decided to attempt a “cousin session” while she was in town. The cousins range from a few months old to 12 years. We headed out to one of my favorite places to shoot and all was going well and we got a few good shots and then everything came undone in the end. Poor Miss Elliot was done being my little model and there was no talking her out of her decision. So….a few good shots to start……and a few not so good.

Our new neighbors…..

About a month ago, we started wondering if we would have repeat tenants in the nest that occupied our weeping cherry tree. You see….last year we had a momma robin lay 3 beautiful blue eggs in the nest. We patiently waited, I snapped a few photos, however we were unlucky in that the ugly grackles (black nuisance birds) managed to scare momma robin away and destroyed the eggs. I was so mad. Well…….this year, I thought we had prime real estate up for grabs in the weeping cherry. I saw robins all over the yard and was just waiting for one to lay eggs. Much to my surprise, however, was WHO ended up in the nest. We have turtle doves that are now residing in the nest!! Scott peeked into the nest while momma was away and told me she had layed a single egg!! Yay!! Well, today, he checked out the nest again and she now has TWO eggs!!

I had Scott drag out the ladder and snapped a few photos!!

Itty, bitty Kenna…..all 6 pounds 1 ounce of her came over and did a fabulous job!  Sometimes you just forget how small they can be when you haven’t had a “little peanut” for a while!! Here’s the sneak peek for mom, dad and big sis!!
